This opportunity is for a Pharmacy Technician to provide per diem support in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) setting with 340B program involvement. The role involves covering call offs, PTO, and vacation shifts, typically averaging about two shifts per month, offering flexible scheduling without weekend commitments.
Responsibilities include assisting with medication dispensing and inventory management in a patient-focused environment. You will work closely with one pharmacist in a fast-paced setting supporting an underserved patient population.
Key Qualifications
- Valid NC Pharmacy Technician license
- Recent experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Familiarity with FQHC settings is preferred
- Experience serving underserved populations is highly desirable
- Comfortable working in a setting with one pharmacist and one technician
- Spanish language skills are preferred, especially if the pharmacist on duty also speaks Spanish
Schedule & Location:
- Charlotte, NC
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
- No weekend hours required
